Dr. Beyer is a board-certified otolaryngologist/head and neck surgeon who grew up in Gretna and attended Archbishop Shaw High School in Marrero, Louisiana. He attended the University of New Orleans on an academic scholarship earning bachelor and master degrees in Biological Sciences. His Doctor of Medicine degree is from Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans and he completed his residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.
Dr. Beyer’s interests include middle ear and mastoid surgery and restorative surgery for hearing, thyroid and neck surgery, as well as endoscopic sinus surgery and pediatric endoscopic procedures. He was the first surgeon in the Houma Thibodaux area to perform stereotactic computer-guided endoscopic sinus surgery. Dr. Beyer lives in Houma with his wife and six daughters.
